Every henna, brow and face painting price at Piya Designs is on this page, before you enquire. Henna is priced by how much skin the design covers and how long it takes to apply. Brows are priced by service and by time. Face painting is by the hour. Every figure below is a starting, "from" price, because a denser design or a bigger group always costs more than a simple one, and I will tell you the real number before you book, not after.
This page exists because publishing a price respects your time. You already get an exact figure before you sit in a brow bar chair. There is no good reason a bride should have to send three messages to find out whether henna is within her budget, so here, it simply is not a question you need to ask.

Party and event henna
Mehndi nights, Eid, Diwali, Karva Chauth, baby showers, birthdays, hen dos and school fetes. Booked by the hour, with a minimum booking so a short visit still covers my travel.

Brows and threading
Every brow and threading salon I found in Berkshire is fixed premises, so you go to them and wait. I bring the chair to your kitchen instead.

Travel and callout
Every booking is mobile. I travel from Reading across Slough and Reading. No competitor in this market publishes a callout fee, so most brides only find out whether their venue is "too far away" after they have already sent a message. Here is exactly how it works.

Deposits and cancellations
Nobody in this market explains this in one place, so a first-time bride is often left cross-referencing five different artists' terms and conditions just to find out what is normal. Across UK mobile henna artists generally, a deposit at the time of booking is standard practice, because taking your booking means turning other enquiries away for that date. The balance is then due on the day, or shortly before it for a bridal booking. Here is exactly how it works with Piya Designs.

Every figure on this page is a genuine starting price, marked "from". A denser design, a bigger group or a longer drive can move the number up, and I will always tell you the real price before you commit to anything, never after.
Do you charge extra to travel to me?
The first 20 miles from Reading are free on bookings of £100 or more. Below that it is £0.5 per mile, worked out and agreed before you book, never added as a surprise afterwards.
How do deposits work?
A 25% deposit secures your date and is paid at the time of booking. It is non-refundable once paid, because your date is then held and other enquiries for that day are turned away.
What happens if I need to cancel or move my date?
The deposit itself is not refunded, since your date has already been held for you and turned away from other enquiries, but I will always try to move a booking to a new date if you give me enough notice.
How much extra for guests at a mehndi night?
Small designs for guests are charged £8 per person, on top of the bride's own booking, so you can work out the cost of the whole evening rather than guessing.
