About Piya
I'm Piya, henna artist and face painter, based in Reading, Berkshire. I travel to clients across Slough and Reading for bridal mehndi, party henna, face painting and mobile brow threading.
Piya has spent 10 years perfecting henna and threading, working from Reading and travelling to clients across Slough and Reading. Every design starts with a conversation about what you want and how long you have, and every paste and paint she uses is chosen for what it does to your skin, not just how it looks on the day.

What is in the paste
Natural henna powder, lemon juice, henna sugar, cajeput essential oil, lavender essential oil. Nothing else. No PPD, no "black henna", no instant-stain chemicals. Applying a paste containing PPD to skin is illegal in the UK.
A patch test is offered before your booking, so any reaction shows up on a small area of skin days before the event, not on your wedding morning.

These require registration as a special treatment under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 in most council areas, including Reading and Slough. Threading and henna do not. That is not a workaround, it is a real difference in what the two kinds of treatment involve.
